THE CURRICULUM - PRIMARY AND POST PRIMARY
All schools, other than independent schools, follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Schools must provide a balanced and broadly based curriculum which:-

promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, intellectual and physical development of pupils at school and thereby in society; and prepares pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
