Free School Meals Free School Meals are available for children aged 4-18 in full-time education who meet the eligibility criteria.
Maintenance Allowances The areas described include Maintenance Allowances to help meet the cost of keeping children in full-time education after they have attained the upper limit of compulsory school age (16). School Uniforms The Board also provides financial assistance towards the cost of School Uniforms for pupils at primary, secondary, grammar, and special schools. PE clothing may be provided for 11-18 year old pupils who attend schools, or colleges/institutes of further and higher education if PE is part of the course. Applicants have to meet the eligibility criteria detailed in the uniforms page.
