Fort Hill Primary School officially opened its new Nursery Unit on Monday 17 December 2001 at 10.30amLong serving Board of Governors Miss Catherine Maze and Mr Tom Porter joined school representatives and SEELB Chairman Rev Dr D J Watts on Monday 17 December to officially open the new Nursery Unit at Fort Hill Primary School.SEELB Chairman, Rev Dr D J Watts said, I welcome this example of capital investment in nursery education which the SEELB has made. I am confident that this excellent accommodation will be well used to further develop the educational opportunity of the children of the area."The Principal of Fort Hill Primary School , Mr John Walsh , is delighted with the new Nursery Unit This is the culmination of many years hard work by the loyal and dedicated staff and Board of Governors of the school. Fort Hill Primary school shares a site with Fort Hill Integrated College and parents are now offered the prospect of education for their children from Nursery to Primary and continuing on to Secondary on the one campus.
