The Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr W R Morrow, joined school representatives and invited guests on Friday 19 October to officially open the new 3 Classroom Extension and Resource Area.Members of the press attended the ceremony which began at 1.30pm with the unveiling of the plaque at approximately 2.00pm.SEELB Chief Executive Mr Jackie Fitzsimons said “This new extension is a tremendous addition to the education facilities offered by the school. The Board is committed to the continuing improvement of the education infrastructure in its area and I am sure that this extension will be welcomed by the pupils, parents, staff and governors of Gilnahirk Primary School”. |
