Guidelines for Use of SEELB Logo

SEELB Corporate Information Services has drawn up the following guidelines as a response to difficulties experienced in the past with regard to corruption of the SEELB Logo.

These guidelines relate to the main components of the SEELB Corporate Logo.

Above is the SEELB Logotype. It has been specially crafted and must always be taken from the original logotype.

The logotype must not be formatted or redrawn in any way.

Master logotypes can be downloaded below.

The SEELB colours are:

Blue:
Pantone 2738C or 2738U

Yellow:
Pantone 123C or 115U

(C colours for coated papers, U colours for uncoated papers).

These colours can be printed as "specials" or matched from a four colour process.

When choosing colours for printing or using coloured papers or using coloured papers, avoid using 'nearest possible' colour matches. Choose materials which contain flecks of the corporate colours or which complement them.

Any sign of environmental interior or exterior application of the corporate identity and its associated colours must be passed to the Corporate Information Services unit for approval prior to commissioning or printing.

MONOCHROME LOGOTYPES

When full colour is not available, the logotype must be printed In black.

Special colour coding or foil blocking requirements must be referred to the Corporate Information Services Unit,

The monochrome logotype Is a solid. Tints or In-fills should not be used.

For printed applications where the logotype needs to be reproduced against a dark background and full colour is not available. a straightforward reversal is used.

SUBSIDIARY TYPEFACES

Two type family has been chosen for use with the logotype Arial and GillSans.

They have been chosen for easy availability across a wide variety of media and for the range of weights and italics available.

Arial should he used for main text and GillSans used for Graphics.
