  • describe what clients can expect in terms of provision
  • for minority languages
  • promote good relations
  • promote social inclusion
  • promote respect for and celebration of cultural
  • diversity

Public Library User Survey (PLUS)

In October 2003, we carried out a survey of adult library users. We asked you what you thought of various aspects of the service and invited you to tell us what you use libraries for.

We received nearly 7,500 completed questionnaires.

The survey results helped us find out:

  • who uses our libraries
  • what services are used
  • to what extent people are satisfied with the service
