Built in the 1850's, a large old country home set in its own grounds of approximately 10 acres. Extended in the early 70's and refurbished in the early 90's and more recently in 2005, the Centre can now accommodate up to 100 students plus staff in 16 dormitories of between 2 and 12 beds.
Located approximately 30 miles south of Belfast on the northern perimeter of the Mournes this Centre specialises in outdoor activities and environmental fieldwork.

Due to the SEELB's extensive Youth Leadership programmes, the Youth Section is given priority for weekend bookings.
There will however, be a number of weekends available throughout the year at Ardnabannon. Groups interested in a weekend booking should forward the booking form with their choice of dates or contact the Centre directly regarding availability. Ardnabannon Outdoor Education Centre can also assist schools with the delivery of fieldwork elements of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Normally undertaken by schools on a day visit basis, the Centre can provide tuition, transport and equipment. For more information on fieldwork programmes, please contact the Centre directly.
