Within the South Eastern Region the Procurement Section administers a wide variety of contracts for goods and services, the most of which are call-off period contracts and many of these are tendered and awarded on a Northern Ireland basis. These contracts can last from just one year to up to four years before the requirement will be re-tendered.

EA contracts can be awarded by any region of the Authority, the NI Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) and the Government Procurement Service which is now part of the Crown Commercial Service.
