Health Promoting Schools Award
This scheme challenges schools to consider how they promote health
through out the school and encourages them to take steps towards becoming
more health promoting. It is an annual event with Gold and Silver
awards. The Awards reflect the extent to which the school promotes
moral, intellectual, social, emotional and personal development of
all its pupils.
A pilot scheme will
be run during 2000-2001 with wider participation in the following years.
