The topics are taken from everyday KS2 classrooms and could be easily enhanced and exploited to deliver the International Dimension with partner schools. Many subjects other than English will be included in the outworking of the project.

Speaking and Listening

Discussions on:

Victorians

  • Research Queen Victoria's family tree and its links across Europe today
  • Trace lifestyles across Europe during the period
  • Track inventions across Europe during the period

Local Study

  • Construct a historical tour of their own area with explanatory notes and
    digital photos
  • Research the history of their school, track what was happening in their own
    and partnersí countries at that time

Physical Education and Sport at KS2

The topics are taken from everyday KS2 classrooms and could be easily enhanced
and exploited to deliver the International Dimension with partner schools. Many
subjects other than Physical Education will be included in the outworking of the
project.

Survey

  • Games played at school, after school clubs, rules, national games, equipment,
    adopt each otherís games, play and video the game
  • Sports played at school, rules, national sports, equipment, adopt each otherís

  • Amount of time allocated to PE in the schools within the partnership
  • Gender differences in attitude and participation
  • The playgrounds, markings, usage
  • Arrange a joint Sports Day, agree events, record results and award 1, 2 and 3
