Chinese New Year happens in February. We celebrate for three days in Hong Kong. On New Year's Eve we have a special bath with herbs in it. This bath gets rid of the bad things and makes you a new person for Chinese New Year. At midnight people light bangers to keep all the evil spirits away. I used to live in Hong Kong with my Granny, Grandad, my two Uncles and Aunties. One New Year's Day my Granny found a snake in the kitchen and she was scared.
