I came to Northern Ireland when I was five. I used to live in Hong Kong with my Granny Paw Paw, Grandad Gong Gong, Aunties and two Uncles at the New Year. When I woke up I heard the fireworks beginning. I saw a whole box of fireworks and I saw some people holding fireworks and lighting them. I remember a silver metal fence and some people stuck fireworks on the fence. The fireworks were little red tubes and they were all tied to a piece of string. The fireworks made a big bang. I felt scared, I put my fingers in my ears. People give children money at the New Year. The money is in red pockets, I used to get 4 pockets.
