Work-Related Learning experiences are the opportunity for planned and appropriate experiences of the world of work to increase learner’s motivation, develop their employability skills and give relevance to their learning programme. Appropriate experiences of the world of work can increase the learner’s motivation to learn across the curriculum and give relevance to their learning programme and increase their knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the world of work. These will include work experience, educational visits to places of work, STEM and enterprise activities, mock interviews and talks and demonstrations from professionals and business people.
