Introduction
Congratulations on the successful completion of Induction.

Early Professional Development (EPD) is the third stage of teacher education, of a continuous integrated process which commences with initial teacher education and progresses through the Induction Stage.

The EPD stage will normally take two years to complete.

It is important that you register for EPD stage each year.

The Summative Report at the end of Induction can form the basis for discussion with the Teacher Tutor to guide this stage of Early Professional Development.

3. Forms and Reports

As part of EPD you are asked to complete 2 Professional Development Activities or PDAs. Both activities will focus on teaching and learning and include educational technology to support learning. You will be asked to demonstrate reflective practice.

4. Forms and Reports

At the end of each PDA the school is required to complete a Quality Assurance Form.

All EPD1 teachers should attend a half day course based on the EPD process. Please ensure you have registered as EPD1 and that your email address is correct
