FINANCIAL SUPPORT UNIT

This service unit is responsible for providing a financial planning and management information service to the Board in line with its strategic plan. This includes the preparation of short and medium term financial plans and the maintenance of a Financial Management Information Service to facilitate budgetary control and decision making by budget holders, including those responsible for the local management of schools. Services are also provided in relation to the maintenance of the General Ledger System and Chart of Accounts.
