IT SERVICES

The IT Services Unit undertakes the development and maintenance of both strategic and non-strategic computer systems covering Board Headquarters and a variety of out-centres and offices.

The Board approved an IS/IT strategy in March 1999 setting out areas where the use of IT/ICT could improve and add value to services.

The unit continues to provide support and guidance to schools on telecommunication and data protection issues.
